Reviewers not only influence individual manuscripts but also enhance the journal's credibility and reputation. To maintain high publication standards and better serve the academic community, we invite professionals and experts from the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and globally to join us. Requirements:
- Applicants should hold a PhD, or a Master’s degree with a scientific title of “Lecturer,” and have at least 5 published papers.
- Applicants must have substantial experience in their specific research field.
- The applicant’s research field should align with the scope of our journal.
- Reviewers must be willing to review at least 4 papers per round or more.
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
- Please provide precise details of your areas of expertise.
Reviewer Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the quality, relevance, and merit of submitted papers with thorough and detailed comments.
- Confirm the corrections made by authors if requested.
- You may be asked to review up to four manuscripts per round.
- The decision to review a paper ultimately rests with you; if you lack the time or expertise, you may decline.
- Reviews must be completed within 2 weeks. If more time is needed or if you cannot perform the review, notify us promptly to allow us to inform the authors and assign alternate reviewers if necessary.
- Reviewers who do not respond within 3 days may lose their status as reviewers for JKSS.
- Treat all manuscripts with strict confidentiality and do not share submission details with any other parties.
Reviewer Benefits:
- We appreciate and reward reviewers with direct compensation of approximately $30-$40 (50,000 IQD) per review.
